A new history has been made in beauty pageant industry; following JKN Global Group, Thailand’s media and content conglomerate officially announced the acquisition of Miss Universe Organization in October 2022. The announcement was made by Jakkapong “Anne” Jakrajutatip, the company’s CEO and its main shareholder.
JKN Global Group purchased a license from Miss Universe Organization for USD 20 million or approximately IDR 311.2 billion. Of course, that also has an impact on the Miss Universe contest in Indonesia, which is now will be held under PT Capella Swastika Karya.
